After doing some deep sky objects for a while, I wanted to try out something different. With a nearly (98%) full moon, I figured the Moon itself was worth a try. My gear was certainly not the ideal setup (comically low frame rate, not a lot of focal length), but hey why not.
You can tell my processing is not the best here, with some artifacts clearly visible. My limited focal length means that this is a pretty low-res image. But you can still make out some detail on the moon.
